What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.

Due to the nature of our business it may be necessary to obtain personal information about you. We will not collect or use any information you provide in an inappropriate manner. We will only ask for and use personal information that we reasonably need to conduct our business and we will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access or inappropriate disclosure.

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing or employment. If you apply for a job in our business, details about your education and other qualifications, employment history, licence/s, associations, referees, Working with Children Check will also be collected.

You can unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing or selecting the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our marketing material (electronic marketing, updates, newsletters etc).

When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.

Where we collect sensitive information from you, we will only do so with your consent. This information will only be used for the purpose it was collected or, in exceptional circumstances, to lesson a serious threat to a person’s health or safety, or where required or authorised by law.

However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties (an example may be where personal information of your child (e.g. dietary requirements, medical history) is provided by your child’s school who is attending one of our camps. Similarly, if you provide us with another individual’s personal information, such as address details for the purchase of a gift voucher, you must have their consent to do so and we rely on you to have informed those individuals that you are providing their personal information to us.

The Ranch Mornington Peninsula will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

It is important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
